BST Hyde Park has long been one of the most prestigious festivals, particularly given its location in the heart of the UK’s capital city. Receiving a headline slot is no easy feat, and 2025 is here with an enormous line-up of the world’s biggest stars right now. This year, the bill is stacked with Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Noah Kahan and none other than Zach Bryan, the country singer who’s risen to GRAMMY-winning status in recent years.

After a day of incredible music across two stages, featuring Dermot Kennedy, Mt. Joy, Gabrielle Aplin, Willow Avalon, Ole 60 and many more, it was time for Bryan to hit the stage. This would be his first of two performances at Hyde Park, due to overwhelming demand.

Walking out to the gorgeous Overtime, the singer and his full band kicked off in style, dishing out hits including God Speed, Pink Skies and Something In The Orange. He also debuted a new track Streets Of London, which was only finished four days ago, and comes out next week.

When it came to fan-favourite Heading South, a fan was invited onto stage to play alongside Bryan after a viral TikTok campaign to make it happen over months and months. It turns out the fan, Oliver Hawkins, was celebrating his birthday today. This memory won’t fade anytime soon. The pair played the track to 65,000 people, a sea of cowboy hats and flags.
Elsewhere, there was a moment of gratitude. Bryan smiled and exclaimed he was the ‘luckiest man in the world’. It was only a couple of years ago when he sold-out Islington Assembly, so to headline BST Hyde Park for 130,000 people across two nights must be mind-boggling.

The set came to a close with 2022’s Quittin’ Time, before an eruption of applause and dazzling fireworks. This was an unforgettable moment for the artist and fans, and it’s about to unfold all over again for a second night.
