Scottish soul singing sensation Brooke Combe made her way to Manchester last Thursday, for a vibrant gig at Manchester’s Gorilla. Following in the footsteps of singing stars Olivia Dean and RAYE who are experimenting with soul elements, Combe repopularises the genre, with her infectious hooks and exceptional vocals, most recently seen in her hit track How Can I Tell You? (To Love Me More).

Her debut album, Dancing At The Edge Of The World, released at the start of last year, was welcomed with open arms, receiving critical acclaim from the likes of The Guardian, Dork and more, and her gig at Gorilla in Manchester proved exactly why she deserves the spotlight.

In an extensive 16-track setlist, Combe kept her audience captivated with both slower songs and upbeat, feel good tracks, culminating on her debut album’s closer, which shares its title, Dancing At The Edge Of The World.
