Reunions are great, aren’t they? Getting the chance to catch up with people you haven’t seen in a while is a lot of fun! This is exactly what happened this past Friday evening, as I ventured down to the mighty YES in Manchester for a reunion with the ever-so-infectious Hungry. I originally met these lads all the way back in October 2024 for their Confessional Takeover in Blackburn. The band were of my highlights of the night! So, getting the chance to see them again live was an easy no-brainer!

By golly, I’m glad I did. Saying they blew the lid off that joint would be an understatement. Full of swagger and an energy like no other, they unleashed pure mayhem on the packed-out crowd without leaving them a second to catch their breath. It felt like a workout in itself keeping up with them with my camera. They really have made a home here in Manchester with a dedicated fanbase chanting every word that was spat out by lead singer Jacob Peck. Oh, and let’s not forget some of the outrageous dance moves – they were iconic! They delivered a set for the ages, one that both myself and the crowd won’t be forgetting in a long time.

I can’t forget to mention both Magnum Opus II and The Speed of Honey and Her Oscillations, who both delivered sets that not only set up the night for what was to come, but have been stuck in my brain ever since. I’ll definitely be checking out both bands again down the line.
