Gunnersbury Park is about to go off.
Two stacked weekends, the 8th–10th of August and the 15th–16th, are bringing the heat straight to West London, with a festival lineup that punches across genres and generations.
Whether you’re into gritty guitars, deep house grooves, or dancefloor euphoria, this year’s Gunnersbury takeover has a flavour for everyone. And trust us–it’s not just about the headliners, although wow, what a lineup, it’s about the vibe, the energy, and the everything-all-at-once kind of high you only get when summer’s peaking and the basslines are hitting you square in the chest.
Ready to lock it in? Here’s your full breakdown of why this might be summer’s hottest weekend.
FRI 8 AUG – PAWSA
No warm-up needed. Pawsa opens the series with a deep tech-house set that’ll pull you into the groove before you’ve even sipped your first cider.
Known for his signature rolling basslines, and stripped-back energy, the Solid Grooves co-founder is a master of mood. This won’t be a shouty, chart-topping set; it’ll be hypnotic, locked-in, heads-down heaven. Expect silky transitions, low-end swagger, and a dancefloor that won’t stop moving.
Forget the fireworks, this one’s all about the slow burn.

SAT 9 AUG – THE LIBERTINES
Saturday’s for the believers, and The Libertines are here to convert the crowd. Still gloriously ragged, still magnetic as ever, Pete and Carl’s chaotic chemistry remains one of British rock’s most electric live forces. From pub punk classics like Up the Bracket to the sheer euphoria of Don’t Look Back Into The Sun, it’s a set that’ll have you screaming every lyric like it’s 2004 again.
And the undercard? Supergrass are back in full throttle with Britpop bangers (Alright, Caught by the Fuzz) that still hit like summer lightning. Soft Play (formerly Slaves) bring their punky, sweat-soaked energy, Hak Baker delivers raw social storytelling with an East End soul twist, whilst Lambrini Girls and Real Farmer bring riot, chaos, and fuzzy indie grit to the frontlines.
It’s a stacked start to the weekend, with zero filler…
Buckle in. This is going to be gloriously messy in all the right ways.

SUN 10 AUG – THE SMASHING PUMPKINS
You want legends? You’ve got them. The Smashing Pumpkins are bringing their alt-rock mythology to London, for a rare outdoor headline that promises noise, nostalgia, and more fuzzed-out guitar than your teenage playlist could ever dream of.
Billy Corgan’s theatrical, high-drama sound has aged like a fine, slightly chaotic wine. Bigger, louder, moodier.
But it’s not just Corgan and Co. making noise. Support comes from the iconic Skunk Anansie, bringing their fierce, political punch, and powerhouse vocals, plus the sleek, synth-laced post-punk of White Lies. Expect a day of riffs, rage, and big singalongs.

FRI 15 AUG – KHRUANGBIN
Weekend two hits different. Khruangbin slide in with shimmering guitar textures, deep dub basslines, and a genre-melting set that’s impossible to define–but impossible not to vibe with. They’re the kind of band that makes time feel slower, sunsets feel warmer, and your entire body forget about stress for a few golden hours. Their live sets aren’t gigs, they’re sonic escapism. Soulful, slow-motion, and effortlessly cool. Float with it.
Their warm-up act? None other than Brooklyn’s cult heroes, TV On The Radio, whose genre-bending alt-indie (equal parts soul, noise, and art-punk) is the perfect strange, but beautiful, prelude. Prepare to float.

SAT 16 AUG – MARTIN GARRIX
What better way to close it all down than with a full-blown dancefloor eruption? Martin Garrix takes the final headline slot and turns Gunnersbury into a full-scale EDM playground. Think sky-punching drops, euphoric singalongs, and a setlist packed with chart-topping anthems (Scared to Be Lonely, Animals, In the Name of Love) that’ll leave you grinning long after the lights go out. It won’t be subtle. It won’t be quiet. It will be pure adrenaline, exactly how this festival should end.
Joining him: House titan Steve Angello (yes, of Swedish House Mafia fame), high-energy German DJ, BUNT., disco-funk sorcerer LAVERN, future bass newcomer Megisto, and rising DJ, Nova Blue. Expect high BPMs, massive drops, and no holding back.
It’s likely these tickets won’t hang about. Whether you’re wanting a taste of classic brit-rock, or committed to a multi-genre affair, it might be time to lock in your plans with friends, and prepare to lose yourself in the music, energy, and sunshine.

Don’t miss out. Get your tickets here.
